Submission Information / Call for Papers

Free Speech Yearbook publishes essays in doctrinal analysis of free speech law, the rhetorical analysis of landmark cases and judges, and theoretical discussions of the freedom to communicate. Approaches that explore interdisciplinary and international issues of free and responsible speech, press, media law, regulation and policy, press freedoms and governance of new media are also welcome.

Submissions should follow MLA style (5th edition). All submissions to FSY undergo blind review by at least two editorial board members. Final manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word format. Deadline for the 2007 edition is January 1, 2008. Digital submissions are now accepted.
